The RBVRR Institute of Technology is an academic entity managed by the Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Educational Society, a not-for profit trust dedicated to the promotion of quality teaching in the field of higher education. The Institute was established in the memory of the late Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy, eminent administrator and social reformer and the founder of the Society who worked as the Kotwal (Police Commissioner) in the erstwhile Nizam's Government.
The society was established in 1918. It has a history of over 95 years of service to society in the fields of education and allied areas. With a strong financial and managerial profile, it is mainly concerned with providing quality education at all levels and offering hostel facilities to the students hailing from rural and mofussil parts of the state.
